OnePlus is reported to be working on an entry-level phone and this handset is largely rumored to be codenamed ‘Clover’. This alleged OnePlus Clover was recently tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 460 SoC and now a new OnePlus phone possibly running on the same processor has been spotted on Geekbench. This new handset comes with the model number BE2012 and it is listed to also pack 4GB of RAM. OnePlus strategy so far has involved launching a few phones a year powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 800 series. That has worked well for the company over the years, but with this smartphone, OnePlus aimed at the high-end segment.
Onplus clover,The smartphone has a huge sized screen, 6.52 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It comes with sensors such as Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, and proximity. The smartphone runs on the Android 10.0 operating system and powered by Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 460 Octa-core processor. The smartphone features three cameras at the back while on the front camera is an Unknown camera & it has a Li-Po 6000 mAh battery + Fast charging 18W.
As we’re talking about Oneplus Clover,We are going to make a review on it today.Now Let’s Talk about Details-
Design-
One Plus clover,The smartphone has a huge sized screen, 6.52 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.The phone looks big in size. It comes with sensors such as Fingerprint.It has a selfie camera in the front.The front screen is protected by cornilla gorilla glass( which number of gorilla glass has been used Isn’t estimated yet).The vessels don’t look bad at all.I Don’t think it comes out with any obstacles while watching any video.Bt it can be thinner as i prefer.It has a single punctual display that can give feel of full display.
And in the back,there are three cameras on the left side.As usual,All smartphone of this brand hold a logo in the Middle of the backside.So it is.But the back side is made of polycarbonate.Besides,It also has a plastic frame on the side.It’s better to use case always.Because,It’s not scratch or smudge free.
Beside the camera,the fingerprint sensor is situated.It’s easy to locate it but as the phone is big in size,sometimes it takes more time to reach there.And i think It’s a bad side of clover that there is no side-mounted or on-display fingerprint sensor.It has used the old fashion style.Now it depends on the users whether they’ll like it or not.
It has the power button,volume rocker & sim card slot.In the below side,There is 3.5 mm headphone jack,type-c port.As it comes with a big Battery,it’s a little bit heavy.But I’m not sure about how much the exact weight can be.It’s available in various colurs.
Display-
OnePlus Clover smartphone has a IPS LCD display. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1560 Pixels and 264 ppi pixel density.
Nowadays, It’s an age of Amoled/super amoled display.But oneplus is giving here only a HD+ Display,Not even a Full HD+ Diplay.It’s totally unexpected from Oneplus.On this display,You can watch videos with a very vibrant colur.Though It’s not an amoled display,having an IPS LCD panel it catches the good colour also of videos on the screen.But in some cases,you can have the disadvantages of not having a full HD+ display.We can have a full view display with a punch hole situated on the left corner of the phone.The contrast is low and the colors don’t look as dynamic as you can see on the AMOLED panel. The panel is almost enough for everyday use. When the phone is used outdoors, it improves sunlight readability and reduces paint bleeding.The display can get bright, and colours are also saturated.The videos on display are colourful & eye catching to see.Overall we can say that,It’s a very vibrant & vivid display.
Performance-
OnePlus Clover smartphone runs on Android v10 (Q) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core (1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 240 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 240) processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 Chipset.And It’s based on Adreno 610.
And here it’s the main problem.As the budget is low,the company has compromised with It’s processor.But this processor will run by latest oxygen OS which is owned by oneplus.As people are fan of Oneplus’s own UI performance,They can be sure about the whole running performance.If you are not a heavy user,you can run the phone easily on daily basis.But if you are a gamer,It’s tough for people to manage.As this clover offers you an old chipset,it can’t afford a heavy gaming.That doesn’t mean you can’t play games on it.PUBG,CALL OF DUTY,ASPHALT-9 & other games can be played but people need to face a lot of difficulties during gaming.So,on my experience i can say that It lacks on gaming performance & it also heats phone up after some heavy gaming.
It has Only 4 GB RAM and 64 GB variant according to internal storage.So you can’t have even a better option in storage section.But It is suitable in case of processor for a daily user to choose this phone.
Camera-
The buyers’ll get a 13 MP Primary Camera, 2 MP f/2.4, Depth Camera, 2 MP f/2.4 Camera and on the rear, there’s an 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP camera with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.
According to the budget,the oneplus clover is offering a good camera performance.But we can also see that in this budget,the other companies are offering a good camera set-up with a good processor.So,It can make a dilemma before buying this phone.But those who are oneplus lover,they can buy it without any doubt.Now Let’s check out the camera performance.
The 13mp Primary camera shoots beautiful pictures in daylight.But it doesn’t perform well in daylight.The portrait mode is not that much good but It’s not that much bad also.The other two sensor are a depth sensor & ultra wide angle camera.Can 2mp depth sensor really capture good photos?You think so?
Don’t flow with the MP only.It’s also noticable that oneplus optimizes the camera performance by the inner hardware.Oneplus’s 13MP can perform like 16/20MP of other brand company. so Don’t take it lightly at all.
The Front camera Is still unknown.It’s not revealed yet.As my observation,it can be a 8 MP front camera.It captures also bright photos & can satisfy you with the natural colours.
In the nightmode,the both front & back camera Don’t perform that much well.But according to the Budget, what can people hope for?
Battery-
Here is the big surprise wauting for you,guys.The standout feature is the 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.Daily users can use this battery life untill two and a half days.It can also till till three days if you use phone hardly in your needs.But also in heavy usage,it can run till two or one & a hf days easily.If you are a heavy gamer,It also takes the pressure. Besides,It comes with a 18 W fast charging.That takes not much time to charge the whole battery. So here is the benifit of this phone.
Geekbench score-
The OnePlus B2012, presumed to be the OnePlus Clover, has been spotted on Geekbench. The phone is listed to run on Android 10 software and be powered by a processor that is codenamed ‘bengal’. MySmartPrice suggests that this is the Snapdragon 460 SoC. The Geekbench listing hints that the processor is clocked at 1.8GHz of base frequency and have eight CPU cores.
The rumoured phone is additionally tipped to pack 4GB of RAM. It managed to score 254 points in the single-core test and 1,174 points in the multi-core test. Apart from this, the Geekbench listing suggests little else. It is important to note that this could well be a completely different OnePlus handset in the works and not the OnePlus Clover. Last month, the OnePlus Clover was spotted on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4GB RAM, and Android 10 software.
Conclusion –
It also suggests that the OnePlus phone may feature a 6.52-inch HD+ (720×1,560 pixels) display and have at least 64GB of onboard storage along with microSD card support. Clover is expected to have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor and two 2-megapixel auxiliary sensors. It is tipped to pack a large 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and offer 3.5mm audio jack support.So there is also some benefits & some demerits.Now,It’s your choice to decide if you are buying this phone or not.But if you are OnePlus lover,You can go for it.
